News Release: Coast Guard medevacs cruise ship passenger, Port Angeles, Wash.

SEATTLE – The U.S. Coast Guard medically evacuated a 25-year-old female from the cruise ship Carnival Spirit at 8:15 p.m., Tuesday.

Coast Guard Station Port Angeles, Wash., deployed a 45-foot response boat crew to transport the ill passenger from the 959-foot cruise ship to Clallam County emergency medical service on shore.

Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound received the request for assistance from Carnival Spirit at 7:20 p.m.
