TWO SAFE AFTER BOAT CAPSIZES ON THE WILLAMETTE RIVER SEATTLE – Two people are safe after their 11-foot sailboat capsized on the Willamette River, Coast Guard Station Portland, A 25-foot response boat from Station Portland was launched to assist at 6:01 p.m. Crew members from the response boat pulled the two men out of the water about 6:05 p.m. The capsized boat was recovered by the Multnomah County Fire Department and towed to the Cathedral Park boat ramp.
