Coast Guard medically evacuates woman from cruise ship |

SEATTLE — The Coast Guard medically evacuated a woman from the cruise ship Zuiderdam, approximately 5 miles west of Tillamook Bay, Ore., Sunday. Coast Guard Station Tillamook Bay received a call at 10:55 a.m., requesting the medical evacuation of a passenger found unconscious in a hot tub aboard the Zuiderdam. Station Tillamook Bay launched a 47-foot motor lifeboat crew to rendezvous with the cruise ship and then transport the woman to Station Tillamook Bay. Medical personnel waiting at Station Tillamook Bay transfered her to Tillamook County General Hospital. The woman's medical condition is unknown at this time. |
