Boat capsizes at Tillamook Bay, Ore.

SEATTLE — The Coast Guard is responding to a capsized fishing vessel near the north jetty at Tillamook, Ore.

A Coast Guard 47-foot smallboat crew from Station Tillamook Bay, Ore., reported the capsizing of the 40-foot fishing vessel Network at approximately 8:05 a.m. and immediately responded to the area. Coast Guard Station Tillamook Bay confirmed there were three people on board the vessel. One of the three men managed to swim to shore and was taken to the hospital in Tillamook by fire crews from Rockaway Beach and Garibaldi, Ore.  The other two men are still in the water.  

A Coast Guard HH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Astoria, Ore., and a second 47-foot smallboat crew from Tillamook Bay are searching.

Sea conditions in the area are reported to be at 11 feet.
