Hello and happy Tuesday! More kudos to our fellow Coasties, only this time we are recognizing Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class John Shriver, with the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, for being chosen as the Trooper of the Quarter in December of 2007. Shriver is a Coast Guard reservist from the Seattle area and while happy to be in Guantanamo he acknowledges missing home and family. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Cheryl Digard with JTF Guantanamo Public Affairs wrote a wonderful story about Shriver's accomplishment. The story and photos and can be found at the link below:
