GROUNDED VESSEL FREED BY STATION YAQUINA BAY PERSONNEL
SEATTLE- A 21-foot vessel grounded September 2 on North Beach in Newport, Ore. at 10:30 a.m. Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay in Newport launched a 47-foot motor lifeboat crew and a mobile land unit crew to assist. At high tide the mobile land unit crew was able to assist in freeing the vessel and getting it underway. Coast Guard photos by Petty Officer 3rd Class Levi Renfrew.
